The other day I was doing facial surgery on a young woman when I realized that her hair was very heavy, seemed knotted and not too hygienic looking. To me it looked like rats nest. After the surgery I asked her about her hair. She said that she felt that her hair was thin and so she had these extensions put on. With the amount of pull and weight I cannot imagine her hair not falling out and thinning out more. The extensions came up right to her scalp and seemed to be strangulating her hair. I cannot imagine combing through it. I told her that if she went swimming in the ocean she could catch her dinner in that hair. Well, her surgery came out great but I am not sure at what point she will loose her hair. I told her that she will still be beautiful even tho she may be bold. She did not like that. I wonder how many people have these extensions and what their experience has been. I however, cannot imagine that these extensions are good for you. Some tell me that if they start away from the scalp then they are not so heavy and detrimental. I am still skeptical. In any case, hair is sexy, and lots of it is more sexy, but I wonder if you add more of it this way whether you are not in danger of loosing it all.
On the other hand, some women who are bald are sexy too. So I wonder, extensions for hair may lead to this, however, if you are beautiful all is sexy. I welcome your comments.
