Meet The Staff

When you arrive for your consultation, you will meet Laura, our patient coordinator, who will make you feel welcome at our office. She will ask you to fill out some paperwork and will assist you in any way she can. Her friendly demeanor will put you at ease from the moment you arrive.

Lisa Hartman, M.M.S., RPA-C is a National and New York State Certified Physician Assistant who specializes in medical dermatology and non-surgical cosmetic enhancements. Lisa will also care for you during the pre- and post-operative process. She earned her master’s degree in medical sciences along with her certificate in physician assistant studies at Nova Southeastern University’s School of Medicine. Prior to her Physician Assistant studies, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in biology from Baldwin-Wallace College while she worked as a nutrition counselor and a certified personal trainer. Lisa is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Association of Plastic Surgery Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She treats a wide-range of dermatolologic conditions and has also worked in emergency medicine and medical research.

Lisa empowers her patients through her educational approach in the decision making process and by placing the highest regard to safety and efficacy along the way. She specializes in a wide variety of non-ablative techniques that complement the work of our surgeons and assist those wanting a non-surgical approach to self-improvement including BOTOX®, injectable fillers (Juvederm®, Restylane®, Perlane®, Sculptra® Aesthetic and RADIESSE®), laser procedures (hyperpigmentation, acne scaring, fine lines and wrinkles, hair reduction, spider vein removal), scar/keloid reduction techniques, skin tag removal, microdermabrasion, sclerotherapy, hyperhydrosis, chemical peels and nipple-areolar complex micropigmentation. She also evaluates and counsels patients on melasma, rosacea, acne and anti-aging skincare treatments, including the SkinMedica® and Obagi® System products.  She will customize a unique treatment program for you focusing on your specific needs and desires.

Bill Murphy, our surgical technician, runs our operating room suite. Bill, who was a medic in the US armed forces is excellent and very organized. His warm personality and operating room experience makes our certified surgical suite the best place to have your surgery performed.

This is Dee, our most pleasant and lovely surgical coordinator and office manager. Dee will explain the fees to you, tell you what preoperative medical tests you need, may go through pre and postoperative pictures of the procedure the doctor recommends for you and will also schedule the surgery and help with the initial paper work.

If you have surgery in the office you will meet our able and experienced anesthesiologist Dr. Max Hartmannsgruber. Dr. Max works with us 3 days every week as he has done for quite a few years. He makes your anesthesia safe and pleasant and makes sure that you will feel well enough to go home soon after the procedure.

Gina our personable and very efficient certified surgical technologist (CST) is an integral part of our surgical team. She will greet you with a big smile as you arrive in the operating room. Gina has sixteen years of operating room experience. She worked for ten years in the Mount Sinai operating room and also spent three years as the clinical coordinator instructor for the Surgical Technology Program at Long Island University.

Of course, you will meet other nurses as well: those who will be with you during your surgery, those who will take care of you in the recovery room and those who may go home with you, if you choose. They may even stay with you till you feel safe enough to be home alone.

You may also then meet Kathy. She has been with us for 22 years and is our account manager. She will help you with filing any insurance forms if applicable and will answer all your billing questions.
